I've been in ministry for over 25 years and my driving passion has been to call and equip the church to worship and pray unto revival and the fulfillment of the great commission. I've served as a missionary in South Africa, taught Bible College, helped pioneer a global prayer movement, and launched an online ministry school. Never in a million years would I have thought that I would add entrepreneur to my bio.
In 2017, I set out to launch my first business called Thinkable. I started it because so many of my friends in ministry kept asking me questions on how to start online courses. This episode marks season three of the Fit in Faith Podcast, and I could not think of a better person for God to send us for our first episode. Tarah-Lynn St. Elien is way more than a Kingdom Passionista. She's a fashionista side who is armoring us all, adorning us in the crown of Jesus Christ and standing alongside her in a beauty pageant. You guys, this is like real life that we get to live every single moment.
And it's not just for the queens, it's for the kings, too. I love her heart. She is a Haitian American woman, who is truly a beauty queen. She was crowned Miss Black New Jersey in 2018, and has come out with a book since then called Claim Your Crown that is absolutely incredible. It's testimonial based, but also just an activation call for us to know our worth and value, and look in the mirror with the understanding that we have already been crowned righteous and whole in who He is.
So today we unpack her storyline, we unpack how she's gotten here, where she's gotten and where she's going, why she's going there, who she's going there with, and how you can come along for the journey, too, as that royalty. I just pray that this blesses you like it blessed me. Have you ever had a moment? A second in time that, you know without a shadow of a doubt, was an experience with Jesus? A time that you hold so tightly to when the storms get heavy, or the dark shadows of life try to bear down on this present light that you've experienced? Maybe you experienced Him in the midst of the dark, and that's what makes Him all the more tangible.
Today's guest is Amy Klutinoty from Your Path His Plan. She's a podcaster, a writer, a wife, and she's an evangelizer and a pastor in her own right. I was so amazed to hear her storyline, the depths of things and places that I have mildly traveled, but not to the same extent. God showed up for her during a dream. She tells us about this dream, and through the details of this dream, I'm living it out with her. I can sense Him and His very being and His very nature amid this dream that happened to her over a decade ago. And yet it's still so present in her life, and so I pray wherever this episode finds you, that it just engulfs you, that it embraces you, that it creates hope within you.
He exists in such a grandiose way, and no matter how hard-headed you are, He will show up on your path in His own unique way to pull you back like the prodigal son, into the place that you've always been destined to go. My name is Amy Klutinoty, and everything you will ever need to know about me can be found in Acts 20:24. I’ll tell you why that is...
I grew up in church and functioned out of man-made religion rather than a Christ-centered relationship.
I was sexually abused as a child and learned early on that the word “trust” didn’t exist in my world.
At 14 years old, I rebelled and ran with sin as far as it could take me. The destination? Rock bottom.
At 23 I was a high school dropout, raging alcoholic and frequent drug-abuser of illegal narcotics. I found myself in and out of jail, bound to probation, slept around to gain “love”, and bounced from one abusive relationship to another.
One night, I had a dream of Jesus that completely changed the entire direction of my life. A few months later I laid everything down to follow Him.
Today, I live in Nashville, TN with my husband Adam, and we both have dedicated our lives to pointing others to Jesus. I’m a firm believer that wherever you are; that’s your ministry field, and I specifically enjoy speaking and writing.
My purpose is to be a voice, calling out to the world with one simple plea, “BE READY-THE KING IS COMING!”
My passion is to encourage others to be bold enough to do the same.
