Welcome to The F.I.T. in Faith Podcast. In today's episode, we dive into Matthew 25:1-13, where we learn about the parable of the ten virgins, but we often overlook a deeper message in this parable.
Tamra reminds us that we're better together and how Jesus prioritized our togetherness. We are called to create the kingdom of heaven here on earth, and our unique gifts and talents are meant to shine and be utilized for His purpose. We cannot do it alone, and it's important to surround ourselves with wise people who will help us grow and reach our full potential.
This parable highlights the importance of being prepared and taking action toward our goals. We need to take responsibility for our own lives and not wait for someone else to fix our problems. The wise bridesmaids took extra oil with them, while the foolish ones did not. When the bridegroom was delayed, the wise bridesmaids were ready and prepared to meet him, while the foolish ones were not.
Let this parable inspire you to be prepared and take action toward your goals. Surround yourself with wise, supportive people who will help you grow and reach your full potential.
